1. In the morning, wash only with a cream based cleanser
You shouldn't use a harsh face cleanser in the morning, you need something gentle! All you're trying to do with this is wash off your night time skin care products and give yourself a clean palette. If your products are too harsh they'll cause damage and pre-mature aging.
2. Apply a Vitamin C moisturizer
I choose and recommend a Vitamin C moisturizer because it's great for both brightening and increasing your collagen production. This means less wrinkles and all around healthier looking skin. The goal is to show your natural glow and beauty!
3. Use a Peptide eye cream
Eye creams are arguably one of the most important products to use for anti aging. The area around your eyes is super sensitive and usually it's the first spot that shows fine lines and wrinkles as you age. So make sure you choose an eye cream that has super powerful ingredients. My favorite eye creams all use Peptides.Â
4. Stone roll beneath the eyes
This little hack makes a huge difference for me. It helps a ton with product penetration, so my eye cream is much more effective. It's also great if you have dark circles because it helps disperse the blood that has pooled beneath your eye, which gives you the "old tired eye look". Don't worry, we've all been there!
5. Use a Blue Light Protection Cream
You already know why you need a daily SPF, but there are still so many people who don't use a blue light protection cream. That's so shocking to me! The blue light that comes from our phones and computers is super damaging to our skin. It causes your skin to break down and age much faster.Â
6. Try MCT oil as a nighttime pre-cleanse
MCT oil is a great tool for separating the dirt and makeup from your skin after a long day. Rub the oil into your skin and then use a warm wash cloth to wipe away your makeup and any dirt that has gathered on your skin. This has the added benefit of restoring skin with natural oils and hydration.
7. Use any CBD skin care product
I fell in love with using CBD in my skin care for so many reasons. The healing properties of this ingredient are incredible and it helps decrease my wrinkles and fine lines a ton. It's also great for inflammation and calming any redness or irritation.Â
8. Spot treat with retinol oil
An overnight retinol oil is one of the few skin care products that will completely change your skin by the time you wake up. This stuff is no joke! It's extremely powerful for anti aging and brightening.
