You're kind of like, “Oh, I'm here.” I remember hearing my mom complain about this. You look in the mirror and you see your mom. “Oh, I remember those tired eyes.” I remember thinking, “Gosh, mommy needs to get some rest.” Meanwhile, she was thinking, “I'm doing the best that I can and it's your fault I don’t have rest!”

You’re realizing that you're in a different phase of life and that you can either try to pretend like it doesn't bother you or you can be honest with yourself and say, “I'm going to do something about this.”

MY STORY

I believe real beauty is a reflection of the joy in your life, and the love you give to others. But life makes it hard to see it that way.

Picture this: You're working hard with the world on your shoulders, when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and you hardly recognize her. Those tired eyes or fine lines don't reflect how radiant you really are! Trust me, I’ve been there. Between running a business and raising two sons, I know how easy it is to lose yourself in giving to everyone else.

While working as an esthetician and building Skincare by Alana, I tried thousands of products and met so many women just like me, who were unfulfilled by expensive brands that didn't work, didn't understand them and didn't have their best interests at heart.

I set out to create my own masterpiece products, drawing on the best of everything I've learned over the years. My purpose: to take care of the women who take care of everyone else, with affordable, high-quality staples that really work.

With my entire family behind me, we poured our hearts into every detail: like only making products with ingredients we believe in, testing them on our circle first, and creating a package pretty enough to light up your bathroom counter. All to help you love your skin for who you really are. That's what we call Skincare with Heart.
