10 Year Old Boy With Autism Invents Brilliant New Device

" I was born in a different way and I think in a different way.

I have autism.

I've always wanted to be an inventor and build all kinds of cool gadgets and robots and stuff, but sometimes it's hard to do things with autism.

Sometimes I would get nervous or anxious so my mom would roll her skin care roller on my arms and neck because it calmed me down.

I always wanted my mom to bring the roller with us everywhere so I could use it whenever I wanted, but we couldn't really do that because it was too big.

Then one night I was like hey why don't they make these on necklaces so then you can bring them everywhere?!

My mom told my dad my idea, they helped me get a patent, and the rest is history! "

He wants to help people like him...

Malachi formed the Stone Roller Necklace idea one night after using his mom's skin care roller to massage his arms and help him relax. 

He wanted to bring the roller with him everywhere, but wasn't able to because of it's size. That's when he suggested that it should be made into a necklace instead.

The roller has helped him in his daily life and he hopes that it can do the same for other children like him.

Malachi is kind, sweet, loving, fun, hilarious, and stubborn. While he is all of these things, sometimes he has a hard time sleeping, communicating, and understanding the world around him as we might see it. All of these things make him who he is. 

He's struggled in the past with bullies and other children not understanding how he is. It hasn't been an easy journey, but his parent's and his education have helped him reach his potential. 

The process of inventing a successful product and obtaining a patent has given Malachi's the confidence he always needed.
